Welcome to Forge, Foundry, and Crucible! I've decided to bite the proverbial bullet and start up a modeling/painting blog in an effort to make myself paint a little bit more regularly. Mostly though its an effort to get myself to actually take photos of some of my models and show them off for criticism. Besides, my friends who live elsewhere have been increasingly threatening in their demands for photos of late.

By way of starting off I'm going to toss up a shot of a work in progress High Elf mage by Games Workshop. This one was taken with my cellphone camera instead of with my actual camera, so its not great but it will serve for a first post I think.
